<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">Diffondiamo questo primo breve comunicato per informare che il compagno Avni Er, detenuto finora nel carcere di Badu’ e Carros in Sardegna, è stato trasferito alle 3 di notte del 2.07.09 nella prigione di Benevento e che, da quanto ci ha detto il suo avvocato, Flavio Rossi Albertini, è fissata al 18 agosto prossimo l’udienza in Cassazione. </SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt"> </SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">Il pericolo che si ripresenta per Avni è di nuovo quello di essere consegnato nelle mani delle Autorità dello Stato fascista turco di cui egli è un oppositore politico.</SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt"> </SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">Avni in carcere in Italia dal 1 aprile del 2004, era stato condannato il 20 dicembre 2006 dalla Corte di Assise di Perugia a sette anni di reclusione per“appartenenza” al DHKP-C, un partito comunista della sinistra rivoluzionaria turca inserito nelle famigerate liste nere stilate dall'Unione Europea dopo l'11 settembre. Confermata dalla Corte d’Appello, il 23 gennaio 2007 la condanna prevede l’espulsione di Avni dal territorio italiano a fine pena. </SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt"> </SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">Di origini turche, impegnato da sempre nella denuncia dei crimini, delle violenze e delle torture commesse da uno Stato che è democratico solo di facciata, egli rischierebbe la morte se tornasse nel suo paese.</SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt"> </SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">Un’ampia mobilitazione aveva portato, già nell’aprile del 2008, la Corte d’Appello di Sassari a rigettare la richiesta di estradizione avanzata da Ankara nei suoi confronti, con motivazioni che però furono tali da non inficiare in alcun modo i rapporti tra Italia e Turchia.</SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt"> </SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">La stessa ampia mobilitazione aveva evitato anche che Nazan Ercan, di origine curda, arrestata con Avni per gli stessi motivi e condannata a cinque anni di carcere fosse espulsa in Turchia una volta scarcerata.</SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">Pure nel caso di Nazan, per salvare “capra e cavoli”, i nostri governanti, allo scadere dei 60 giorni di permanenza nel CPT di Ponte Galeria (Roma) dove la compagna era stata costretta a soggiornare una volta uscita dal carcere di Rebibbia, avevano adottato una soluzione di ripiego. </SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">Nazan, il 6 agosto 2008, fu trasferita in gran segreto all’aeroporto di Milano e da qui imbarcata su un aereo diretto a Düsseldorf in Germania dove la compagna aveva precedentemente ottenuto asilo politico (rimesso poi in discussione) con le false generalità di Zeynep Kiliç.</SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt"> </SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">Non è un caso che i nostri governanti cerchino nuovamente di dare un taglio questa “spinosa questione” in un periodo in cui la mobilitazione e l’attenzione pubblica oggettivamente si affievoliscono.</SPAN></FONT></P>
