<P class=MsoPlainText><FONT color=black size=3 face="Times New Roman"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'; COLOR: black; FONT-SIZE: 12pt">Esprimiamo la nostra solidarietà ai prigionieri politici in lotta nel carcere di Maghaberry, a Lisburn, in Irlanda del Nord. I prigionieri sono in lotta da tre settimane, da quando le loro condizioni detentive sono state severamente aggravate.</SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoPlainText><FONT color=black size=3 face="Times New Roman"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'; COLOR: black; FONT-SIZE: 12pt">I prigionieri sono chiusi in cella per 23 ore al giorno, ispezioni corporali vengono effettuate ogni volta che escono dalle celle, gli accessi al telefono sono stati limitati, e i pasti devono essere consumati in cella. A seguito del trasferimento di un detenuto nel blocco di isolamento, e a causa della brutalità delle guardie, i prigionieri hanno distrutto le loro celle. Come risultato non hanno più accesso all’acqua potabile e ai servizi igienici. Un giorno, dopo l’uscita dalle celle per l’unica ora d’aria consentita, un liquido è stato versato sulle loro brande e hanno dovuto dormire per terra. Al detenuto in isolamento sono stati rifiutati l’accesso al telefono, le visite, la doccia. Questi sono solo alcuni esempi della brutalità che quotidianamente viene riservata ai prigionieri nel carcere
di Maghaberry.</SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoPlainText><FONT color=black size=3 face="Times New Roman"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'; COLOR: black; FONT-SIZE: 12pt">I prigionieri chiedono la fine delle degradanti ispezioni corporali e il diritto di associazione all’interno del carcere. </SPAN></FONT></P>
